Coming to the farm this October…
We’re hosting an event.. and you’re invited!
(Wait, did you think I was announcing something else!? )
Tommy and I have always been passionate about connecting face to face and building relationships with like minded people. Though the internet is great for inspiration - it’s the “real life” friendships and mentors that have without a doubt made the biggest impact and encouraged and supported us the most throughout our homesteading journey!
We have the desire to offer that same opportunity to others and open up our little farm to those looking for community, connection, and just a wholesome day of fun.
The 1st Annual Homestead Gathering
It will be a family friendly day of fellowship for homesteaders, small farms, those who want to be, or support those that do!
Come tour our farm, walk through the garden, see the scullery, sit on the porch, eat good food, and let the kid’s have old fashioned fun. (Okay, we do have a trampoline).
We will provide a whole hog roast, drinks, and various activities. We just ask that you bring a dish or two to pass pot-luck style!
I know it can be hard to find those that “get it”. Why you want to raise your own meat - have a milking animal - or can tomatoes vs. just buying them. I promise you, you aren’t alone though. Come meet others with similar goals or who are already established in the “alternative” lifestyle.
We plan to start the event around 3pm.
We will serve food around 5, probably light up a campfire after, and end when we end. Feel free to come ANY time - not just at the beginning!
So we can prepare properly — tickets are limited and required for the event! Whether you live down the road or two states away, we would love to have you. There are many wonderful camping or Air B&B’s nearby as well.
